SC Daily Meditations

“I have declared, and have saved. I have made it heard, and there was no strange one among you. You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and I am God. And from the beginning I am the same, and there is none that can deliver out of my hind: I will work, and who shall turn it away?

Hold on to God!

People often are afraid and don’t really believe that God can protect them. People are more afraid of other people then trust God. If it happened to you, you should read this meditation.

There is no human or spiritual force which could snatch you from God’s hold; if you are only willing to stay with Him. Only thing you have to do is to continue to trust him and believe every word He said. If everyday you set course of your life according to His Will, following his commandments and His Holy Scriptures. His power will do it’s work in you and around you. The Holy Spirit will lead you and help you. And it can not be changed. No devil's or man’s attack can change God’s work in your life. If God for instance is saying in His Word “by his stripes you are healed “; nothing and nobody can change it! Everything God said in His Word will come to pass if you only believe Him! So don’t let anyone to deceive you, don’t be scared and hold on to His Promises. People can not change God’s plan for you.

You're right: the closer we get to God, the harder the Devil works. He MUST work really hard to pull us away from God.

Fear is of the Devil, as is negative self-talk. Positive thoughts & self-talk is of & from God. Took a long time to truly believe in my heart. I just kept telling myself those things. I've learned that if I can talk myself into anything that I can talk myself out of anything. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "I have often been afraid, but I wouldn't give in to it. I made myself act as though I was not afraid, and gradually my fear disappeared." Eleanor Roosevelt, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you look fear in the face." Norman Vicent Peale, "There is much less danger in standing up to a difficulty or fear than in trying to avoid or run away from it. Face fear - it is never as fearful as expected." RECALLING THE THINGS GOD HAS BROUGHT ME THROUGH IN THE TOUGHEST OF TIMES GIVES ME HOPE AND STRENGTH.

I've BiPolar Depression as part of my make-up. I go to God many times a day seeking His wisdom, strength & guidance. He gives the doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, case managers, teachers His wisdom & guidance as I work with then that they will be helped by Him as they are helping me. It makes all the difference in the world.

I do feel the devil and all his demons attacking me but I have never doubted Gods love and protection. The deep love and trust that I have for God , our blessed mother and the catholic church is always on the fore front of mind and runs very deep in my heart. I have carried my crosses but nothing like what Jesus carried for me and Jesus was always there with me. Thanks be to God!!!

I believe this with all my heart, but sometimes it seems the stronger and closer I get to God, the harder the devil destroys my plans and tries to hurt and discourage me. God please don't let me go!
