“But also for us, to whom it shall be reputed, if we believe in him that raised up Jesus Christ, our Lord, from the dead,
Who was delivered up for our sins and rose again for our justification.
Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access through faith into this grace wherein we stand: and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.”

Justified in Jesus

Do you believe that Jesus was raised up? Do you believe that he was delivered for your sins? Well, every Catholic should.

If your answer is yes, then you have a part in Him, and his blood covers your sins. This means, that price was paid for whatever you did wrong, no matter how bad it was.

Our scripture today says that he died for our sins – he paid a price, you and me should justly pay. Because he paid for us, we do not have to pay any more. And after that Holy Scripture says that, He was raised for our justification. So not only our sins are covered by his blood, but also we are fully justified. We have been made righteous by Jesus. It is not from us, only through and by him.

However, it was not enough for him, so He also gave us an access to his grace and glory.
It is overwhelming what Jesus did for us.
