SC Daily Meditations

“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass: but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And there shall be pestilences and famines and earthquakes in places. Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows. “

Mat 24.6-8

Is the end coming?

Many people are troubled by events of recent few years. Financial meltdown, political instability and nature upheavals has become our daily bred. There was never such a period in the human history, which would match so precisely, to what Jesus himself said.

What does it mean for us?

Should we be scared, anxious or troubled? In a sense, yes.

It is a time to draw near to God and be reconciled with him more than ever. Only God can help us, in what is coming.

No human reasoning will be helpful. Governments, social welfare, your friends, your money or things you own, will not help you. The nature of things coming is supernatural, even if they look as natural. So no natural means will be able to help you, only God himself.

It is the time to turn to God fully and unconditionally. It is the time to seek him and his advice. Other things are not relevant any more. The time we have, is very limited – so use it well! Do not waste it or abuse it. The time you have, is a gift from God, so seek him with all your heart, soul and mind.

Remember, things, which used to work, will not work any more. Do not do things as you used to do. Make sure that your relationship with God is pure and strong. Make sure, that He has a primary position on the altar of your life. Do not let anything to take his place!

Do not let things and your life, to move you away from him, and do not let anything, to get between you and him. It is too important now, do not mess it up!

God be with you!
