Somebody left you an inheritance!

Wouldn’t it be a surprise to you if you would receive a call from a lawyer that some unknown to you person named you as an inheritor of a great amount of money? No matter how well you know your Catholic Bible, you probably have heard about Abraham, his riches and blessing. If you don’t remember Abraham go to the first book of the Bible (Genesis, chapter 12-25).

At his time Abraham was one of the richest persons on the face of the earth. As you read those chapters you will see that God has made a covenant with him, blessed him and made him very rich. He was so rich that his possessions were being compared to the possessions of kings at this time and he also was being called a prince by those kings. So what we have to do with this? He was in the Old Testament we are in the New Testament. He was a friend of God we are children of God through Christ. Well, read again above verses. What Christ did when He died on the Cross? He took on himself the entire curse which was on us and replaced it with the blessing of Abraham. The Gentiles are people who are not Jews, if you are not a Jew, according to the Bible you are a gentile. So it is about all of us. You have received the blessing of Abraham through the Cross. You are blessed as Abraham was blessed (read Genesis chapter 12 to 25, to find out how are you blessed). It is not an automatic gift; you have to believe in it to have it. You need a faith. Start reading Galatians 3.13-14 every day and meditate on it, until you will believe it!
